What happened

On 5 November 2026 Germany's financial supervisor BaFin warned about purported loan offers advertised with a single 3.80% interest rate across identical websites, including kriqs.de, krdliqs.info, kreditiqs.de, krdsiq.info, kred-iqs.de and kredlqs.de. According to BaFin, the operators offer loans against fees without the required authorisation, and the loans are not paid out. BaFin says a purported credit licence published on the sites and allegedly issued by Deutsche Bundesbank is a forgery.

How the scam works

BaFin further states that, contrary to the operators' claims, there is no connection with KRED.IQs Immobiliardarlehensvermittlung GmbH of Frankfurt am Main, which operates only the website krediqs.immo; BaFin describes the use of that firm's identity as identity theft. Offering banking business, financial, securities, crypto-asset or payment services in Germany requires BaFin authorisation.

Paying upfront fees for a loan that never arrives is a classic advance-fee pattern. BaFin advises checking its company database, not paying fees to release a loan, and reporting forged licences. Anyone who has already paid should keep records and contact their bank and the police. The real Frankfurt broker named in the warning is a victim of identity theft in BaFin's account, not the accused operator. The warning is published by BaFin; scammers.com has summarised it and not independently verified the underlying sites beyond BaFin's description.

Identical loan sites that differ only slightly in spelling are built so that when one domain is blocked, traffic moves to the next. A forged Bundesbank licence image is meant to shut down questions about legitimacy. Paying an upfront fee for a loan that BaFin says is never paid out leaves the borrower with a loss and little leverage. Use only lenders you can verify in BaFin's database, and treat any fee-before-funding demand as a hard stop.
