What happened
In an investigation published October 18, 2026, MalwareTips concludes that Bloxshift.shop is a high-risk copycat store. It reports that the domain was registered on May 15, 2026, that the MalwareTips URL scanner gives it a Safety Score of 28/100 (High Risk), and that 7 of 93 security vendors on VirusTotal flag it as malicious or suspicious. MalwareTips also warns buyers to keep their card details out of its checkout. The site presents itself under the BLOX Racing name; BLOX Racing, a real performance auto-parts brand whose own website is bloxracing.com, is not involved and does not operate this shop. MalwareTips says the site copies the catalog, photos and branding of real brands and stores, but none of those brands runs it; the genuine sellers trade from their own websites. It describes the pattern: sponsored posts on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok use photos and videos lifted from real brands, the whole catalog is shown at steep discounts such as 70% off, and buyers who receive anything usually get a cheap knockoff whose size, materials and finish don't match the genuine item. MalwareTips says copycat stores like this come from a network that buys ads, collects as many orders as it can and moves to new domains once complaints build, and it advises not to buy from the site and to buy from the brand's official website or a retailer the brand lists.
What to check
Before buying parts or accessories advertised under a well-known name, check that the web address is the brand's own. A store that copies a brand's logo and catalogue but sits on a different domain, such as a recently registered .shop address, is not the brand. Paying by credit card or PayPal keeps dispute options open if an order never arrives.

Red flags
- A site using the BLOX Racing name on a domain that isn't the brand's own; it's not the real BLOX Racing.
- Discounts of 70% or more across the whole catalogue (for example $39 for an item that normally costs $180), with countdown timers or 'closing sale' banners.
- No registered company name, tax number or physical address in the footer, terms or imprint page.
- Support limited to a contact form or a generic email address, with no phone number or local return address.
- Refund, shipping and privacy pages copied from another shop, or returns that must go to China at your cost.
- Five-star reviews that can't be found anywhere else online.
- 7 of 93 security vendors on VirusTotal flag the domain.
If you were targeted
- 1Don't buy from the site or enter your card details at its checkout.
- 2To buy genuine BLOX Racing products, go to bloxracing.com by typing the address yourself or a retailer BLOX Racing lists; BLOX Racing is not involved with this site.
- 3If you already paid, call your bank or card issuer and ask for a chargeback; disputes have time limits, often around 120 days. If you paid with PayPal, open an 'item not received' or 'significantly not as described' dispute (generally within 180 days).
- 4If you typed in your card number, ask for a replacement card, turn on transaction alerts and watch for small test charges.
- 5Keep the order email, tracking number and screenshots of the product page.
- 6Ignore follow-up 'customs fee' or 'address update' delivery texts, and change any password you reused on the site.
- 7Report the ad to the platform where you saw it and, in the U.S., file a report at ReportFraud.ftc.gov (econsumer.gov for cross-border purchases).
