What happened
On 26 October 2026 Spain's securities regulator, the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV), issued a public warning about an unregistered firm, CLEAR SKY CAPITAL, operating at https://clearsky-edge.org/. The CNMV says the firm is not authorised to provide investment services and activities under Article 129 of the Spanish Securities Markets and Investment Services Act, including foreign currency (forex) transactions, and is not authorised to carry on activities reserved for crypto-asset service providers under the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/1114).
How the scam works
The CNMV notice is a regulatory warning, not a description of how the firm approaches people or whether anyone has lost money, so none of that is claimed here. It was issued under the second paragraph of Article 18 of Spain's Securities Markets and Investment Services Act (Law 6/2023). A firm that isn't authorised can't offer regulated services in Spain, which means investors are outside the supervision and complaints routes that apply to authorised firms.
The notice names the website clearsky-edge.org and says Clear Sky Capital isn't authorised for two kinds of activity: investment services under Article 129 of the Spanish securities law, including foreign-currency transactions, and the crypto-asset services reserved under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation. A firm that offers both forex and crypto trading without either authorisation is outside regulatory oversight in both areas.
The CNMV doesn't say how people are approached or whether anyone lost money. It also doesn't say the name copies an authorised firm. Check any 'capital' or trading firm that contacts you with the regulator before sending money.
