What happened
Europa Press reported on 19 October 2026 that Spain's securities regulator, the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV), warned that day about entities that are not registered and therefore not authorised to provide investment services. Among them were the websites panel.myinvestor-ltd.com, app.tairales-ltd.org/profile-info, pp.myinvestor-limited.com and live.myinvestor-ltd.co. According to the report, the CNMV states that these sites have no connection with MyInvestor Banco, S.A., which is properly registered in Spain as a credit institution providing investment services. The real MyInvestor Banco is the impersonated firm, not the operator of these sites. The CNMV reminds investors that its warnings about unauthorised firms ('chiringuitos financieros') can be checked on its website and that they can call 900 535 015 to check whether an entity is registered.
What the warning means
The CNMV is Spain's securities market regulator. According to Europa Press, the CNMV says the entities named in its 19 October warning are not entered in the relevant register and therefore are not authorised to provide investment services or other activities subject to its supervision.
Unregistered firms are commonly called "chiringuitos financieros" in Spain. The CNMV publishes its warnings about them, along with warnings from international supervisors, on its website, and offers a free phone line, 900 535 015, for investors to check whether an entity is registered. It invites people to report offers of investment services from unregistered entities through its consultation form or its whistleblowing channel.
A website name that closely resembles a registered firm is not evidence of a link to that firm. Before sending money, investors can check the firm's exact name and website against the CNMV's registers, and contact the registered firm directly through details they find themselves rather than those given by the website.
