What happened

Spain's securities regulator, the CNMV, published on October 14, 2026 a warning received from Italy's CONSOB about Marbrisse. CONSOB ordered Italian internet providers to block access from Italy to websites offering investment services without authorisation. The sites named are marbrisse.com and webtrader.strenlyx-degreonix.com.

How the scam works

Spain's CNMV publishes warnings it receives from other regulators about entities not registered with them. CONSOB, Italy's securities regulator, has the power to order Italian internet providers to block sites that offer investment services without authorisation.

Unauthorised online trading sites usually attract investors with ads or cold contact, show account balances on a web trading platform, and then make withdrawals difficult. Separate "webtrader" or tracking domains are common in this setup.

Note: the CNMV notice is a short list entry; it does not describe how these sites approached investors. This section describes how such schemes generally work.
