What happened
Luxembourg's financial regulator, the CSSF, published a warning on October 14, 2026 concerning fraudulent activities carried out by Decimal Global Limited, also called DGL, classed as illicit activities.
The entity uses the website www.decimalgloballimited.net, the email address support@decimalgloballimited.net and the phone number +45 71 57 80 37. No registered office is given. The CSSF says Decimal Global Limited is not supervised by it and has not been granted any authorisation to provide investment or other financial services in or from Luxembourg.
How the scam works
Regulator warnings like this usually concern firms that solicit investors online or by phone, presenting a professional website and support contacts to look like a licensed investment company while operating without authorisation.
Because the firm is not authorised, investors have no regulatory protection or complaint route if money is lost, and funds sent may be impossible to recover.
Note: the CSSF notice lists the entity's details but does not describe how it approached people; this section describes how such schemes generally work.
