What happened
On 4 November 2026 the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) updated its warning about deluxe-trade.top, an unauthorised firm it says may be providing financial services or products in the UK without its authorisation. The warning was first published on 9 October 2025 and last updated on 4 November 2026. The notice lists an address in Ankara, Turkey, and the contact email support@deluxe-trade.top, and gives both deluxe-trade.top and www.deluxe-trade.top.
How the scam works
The FCA says almost all firms and individuals offering, promoting or selling financial services or products in the UK must be authorised or registered by it, and that this firm is not. It explains that firms acting without authorisation operate illegally and that consumers who deal with them lose the protections they would have with a regulated firm. If money is handed over, it is unlikely to be recovered, because the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme do not generally cover unauthorised business.
The update refreshes an existing warning rather than announcing a new firm, which usually means the regulator has new contact details or continued activity to flag. The listing of a Turkish address and a .top domain does not by itself say where the operators are, and the FCA's warning is about the absence of UK authorisation rather than a specific allegation of theft. Consumers are advised to check any firm against the FCA Financial Services Register and Warning List, to be alert to clone firms that copy genuine details, and to avoid cold approaches offering investments. Anyone who thinks they have dealt with the firm can contact the FCA consumer helpline on 0800 111 6768 and their bank. The warning is published by the FCA; scammers.com has summarised it and not independently verified it.
