What happened
The Financial Commission said on 2 November 2026 that it is placing the prop trading firm Solis Futures on its Warning List. The Commission says concerned customers had notified it about the company and its website. After reviewing the information submitted by customers of the firm, it determined that the company and its website may be used to scam and defraud traders and investors.
How the scam works
The Commission says Solis Futures is not certified under its Prop Firm Certification framework, and therefore it does not recommend doing business with the firm, or with individuals purporting to represent it on social media or in private messages on popular messaging apps. The alert does not give the website's address, the amount of any losses or how many customers made complaints, and it does not describe the specific scheme.
The alert does not say how Solis Futures operates. In general, prop firms offer traders funded accounts, often after the trader passes a paid evaluation, so anyone who has paid a firm that later proves to be a fraud may find that nothing can be withdrawn. The Commission points out that people purporting to represent the firm may contact others on social media and in private messages on popular messaging apps, so a contact arriving this way is itself a reason for caution.
People who have dealt with the company should be careful with any further requests for money, keep records of their payments and messages, and consider reporting to their bank or card provider. Anyone thinking of joining a prop firm can check whether it is certified by the Financial Commission before paying.
