What happened

MalwareTips published an investigation on October 13, 2026 concluding that Glowtempo.com is a fraudulent online store that shoppers should avoid. It advertises products at steep discounts, but buyers often receive nothing at all or poor-quality goods unlike those advertised.

MalwareTips found that Glowtempo.com was registered on May 21, 2026, received its SSL certificate on September 20, 2026, and scored 32/100 (High Risk) on the MalwareTips URL scanner.

How the scam works

MalwareTips describes the same pattern across this network. Polished ads on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok use hooks like "Warehouse Sale", "Limited Time" or "Going Out of Business" to push shoppers straight to checkout. The storefront looks like a normal shop, with product photos and text copied from real retailers, countdown timers and "only a few left" notices.

After payment, buyers usually get an automatic order confirmation and then little else. Either nothing arrives, or a cheap item that differs from the listing. Requests for help get scripted replies, refunds stall, and returns may require shipping the item overseas, often to China, at the buyer's cost.

When complaints build up, the operators register a new domain, rename the store and reuse the same templates and ads.
