What happened

On 16 October 2026 the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC) added 'AI Trading Hub / Go Gold AI' to its Alert List as an unlicensed entity. The entry lists three websites: https://aitradinghub.com.tw, https://airtrHub.tw and https://gogoaitrading.com. No address is given.

The SFC states that AI Trading Hub and Go Gold AI, and their operators, are not licensed by or registered with the SFC for any regulated activity under the Securities and Futures Ordinance. They are not permitted to carry on any regulated activity in Hong Kong, or to actively market to the Hong Kong public, whether from Hong Kong or from outside it, services that would be a regulated activity if provided in Hong Kong.

How the scam works

The SFC says some entities appear to target Hong Kong investors while not being licensed to carry out regulated activities there. They often adopt names similar to legitimate financial institutions to confuse investors, or offer financial investment trading platforms on the internet. If you deal with a company that is not licensed by the SFC, you may not be protected by the regulatory framework the SFC enforces.

The SFC's advice is to deal only with licensed entities and to hang up on cold callers. You can check whether an entity is an SFC licensee in its Public Register of Licensed Persons and Registered Institutions.

Note: the SFC entry does not describe how this entity approached investors; this section reflects the SFC's general guidance.
