What happened
On 5 November 2026 Italy's securities regulator CONSOB announced that it had ordered the blocking of 10 websites linked to Renditanzia crypto-asset offers, and separately listed seven unauthorised trading sites, bringing the number of sites blocked since July 2019 to 1,878, of which 260 relate to crypto-asset activities. For Renditanzia, CONSOB listed https://renditanziait.com, https://renditanzia-it.com, https://renditanziaai.com, https://renditanziaaibot.com, https://renditanziabot.com, https://renditanzia.xyz, https://renditanziaofficial.com, https://renditanzia.online, https://renditanzia.sbs and https://renditanzia.it.
How the scam works
CONSOB says it uses its power to order internet service providers to block websites that unlawfully — that is, without authorisation — offer investment services in financial instruments or services relating to crypto-assets to Italian investors. The Renditanzia family of domains is presented as crypto-asset related activity offered without the required authorisation.
Blocking orders are preventive measures aimed at stopping Italian retail investors from reaching the sites; they are not criminal convictions of named individuals. CONSOB advises investors to check whether any firm offering investments or crypto-asset services in Italy is authorised, and not to send money to platforms that appear only through social media ads or lookalike domains. Anyone who has already invested through a Renditanzia site should keep records and consider reporting the matter to CONSOB and to Italian law enforcement. The announcement is published by CONSOB; scammers.com has summarised it and not independently verified the underlying offers.
Renditanzia's many near-identical domains, differing by hyphens, AI or bot suffixes and top-level domains, are characteristic of operators who expect individual names to be blocked and simply shift traffic. CONSOB's cumulative blocking figures show how common unauthorised online investment and crypto offers aimed at Italian retail clients have become. Investors should bookmark consob.it warnings rather than trusting search ads for crypto platforms.
