What happened

MalwareTips published an investigation on 7 November 2026 calling onwddarefy.com a high-risk store that sells household goods, beauty products and kitchenware. MalwareTips found that its URL scanner gives it a Safety Score of 15/100 (Dangerous), 2 of 93 VirusTotal vendors flagged it when last analysed on October 22, 2026, and it runs on esashop.top, the white-label storefront builder behind hundreds of near-identical stores MalwareTips has documented. MalwareTips advises readers to avoid ordering from onwddarefy.com.

How the scam works

According to MalwareTips, stores in this network sell items at steep discounts promoted in Facebook, Instagram and TikTok ads. Items ship from low-cost suppliers in China and take weeks to arrive despite promised 5-7 day delivery, and received items are often very low quality and unlike the ads, with refunds hard to obtain. MalwareTips describes the shop as part of a scam network of lookalike stores that share the same design and policies under different names.

The ads often use attractive videos or photos taken from other sellers and limited-time sale banners to create urgency. Because the stores are cheap to create, operators can open new names as soon as old ones collect complaints, which is why domain age, security scanner scores and vendor flags are useful warning signs. Buyers who complain may be offered a small partial refund to keep the item, or told to return it to an overseas address at their own cost, which often costs more than the purchase.

MalwareTips advises avoiding ordering from the store. Anyone who paid should contact their bank or card issuer, explaining that the goods were not as described or not delivered, and keep screenshots of the ad, the product page and any correspondence. Reporting the ad to the social media platform that showed it can help stop others from being targeted.

  • Low safety scores or security vendor flags for the domain.
  • A store design and policies that match many other unfamiliar shops.
  • Refund offers that require returning goods abroad at your cost.

If you were targeted

  1. 1Pay only by credit card or a method with buyer protection, never bank transfer, crypto or gift cards.
  2. 2Check a store's domain age and independent reviews before buying from an ad.
  3. 3Screenshot the listing, price and terms before you pay.
  4. 4If you paid, contact your bank or card issuer straight away about a chargeback.
