What happened
In a post dated October 22, 2026, MalwareTips describes reforment.com as a high-risk dropshipping store that is part of a network of near-identical shops, and advises people not to buy there. MalwareTips says the site sells low-cost supplier goods shipped from warehouses in China, advertised on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok with steep 'limited time' discounts and photos taken from other sellers or brands. It says items often arrive weeks late and look nothing like the ads, and that returns usually must be shipped to China at the buyer's expense or are met with offers of only 15% to 30% back. MalwareTips says reforment.com was registered on March 12, 2025 and that its URL scanner gives it a Safety Score of 15/100, rated Dangerous. No operator identity or specific victim losses are stated in the source.
How the scam works
MalwareTips says the store makes nothing itself. Like thousands of similar shops, it lists items from low-cost suppliers that ship straight from warehouses in China, while the store only sets prices, runs ads and takes payments. Buyers usually arrive through a Facebook, Instagram or TikTok ad showing a steep markdown under a "limited time" banner, and the same product video often promotes dozens of other shops buying from the same suppliers. Categories, star ratings and a friendly About Us page make the shop look established, but the founder or family-business story is usually a template repeated on many unrelated shops.
The quoted 5 to 7 days can stretch to three or four weeks, tracking can stall for days. What arrives is typically smaller, thinner or simpler than the ad; complaints often mention cheap fabric and poor stitching. A refund request brings a demand for photos and then an instruction to ship the item to China at the buyer's expense, where the postage alone can exceed the refund. The usual alternative is an offer to keep the item for 15% to 30% back. MalwareTips says the policy is written so that many buyers simply give up.
