What happened

MalwareTips published an investigation on 6 November 2026 calling savzio.com a gift card scam. The page promotes a 7-Eleven gift card worth up to $500, asks visitors for basic information and tells them to complete partner deals. 7-Eleven is not involved, and nothing on the page establishes that any reward belongs to the visitor.

How the scam works

The page uses a four-step checklist that moves from clicking to entering information, completing partner deals and receiving a digital card, without saying which deals count, who checks completion or who owes the card. MalwareTips examined the page's JavaScript and found that the claimed-card counter starts at a random number between 1,200 and 1,499 and can rise every three seconds, generated locally rather than from any delivery records. A separate routine picks a countdown between about eight and eighteen minutes, and reaching zero does not close the offer.

The claim button points to giftclick.org with offer and affiliate tracking identifiers. In a Romania-based check, the route opened an EdgeOffers page titled Opportunity Search that listed Surveoo surveys and separate PIKE and MegaPari casino promotions, not a 7-Eleven gift card. That destination describes itself as advertising and separates itself from responsibility for third-party rewards. MalwareTips notes that an affiliate link alone is not fraud; the problem is the combination of fabricated counters and urgency with no clear party responsible for the advertised reward. Routes can vary by location.

MalwareTips advises not pursuing the promotion, not completing deals to chase the headline reward and not submitting payment or financial details. Anyone who entered card details on a linked offer should check for subscriptions and contact their card issuer.
