What happened

In an investigation published October 19, 2026, MalwareTips warns about Mypttsb24.online. It reports the domain was registered on October 18, 2026, less than a day before its check, and that the MalwareTips URL scanner gives it a Safety Score of 38/100 (High Risk). MalwareTips says the store is a dropshipping middleman rather than a brand, and belongs to a scam network of near-identical stores that share templates, product photos and return policies and reopen under new names. It rates the store high risk and advises not to buy from it.

How the scam works

MalwareTips says the store makes nothing itself. Like thousands of similar shops, it lists items from low-cost suppliers that ship straight from warehouses in China, while the store only sets prices, runs ads and takes payments. Buyers usually arrive through a Facebook, Instagram or TikTok ad showing a steep markdown under a "limited time" banner, and the same product video often promotes dozens of other shops buying from the same suppliers. Categories, star ratings and a friendly About Us page make the shop look established, but the founder or family-business story is usually a template repeated on many unrelated shops.

The quoted 5 to 7 days can stretch to three or four weeks, tracking can stall for days. What arrives is typically smaller, thinner or simpler than the ad; complaints often mention cheap fabric and poor stitching. A refund request brings a demand for photos and then an instruction to ship the item to China at the buyer's expense, where the postage alone can exceed the refund. The usual alternative is an offer to keep the item for 15% to 30% back. MalwareTips says the policy is written so that many buyers simply give up.

Red flags

  • Prices far too low for what's pictured, such as a $29 leather bag or a $19 smartwatch, next to a crossed-out 'original' price.
  • Product photos and videos that also appear in ads for other shops.
  • An About Us story that reads like a template, and no verifiable company name or address.
  • Email-only support with slow replies.
  • A return policy that requires shipping items to China at your own cost, or offers 15% to 30% back if you keep the item.

If you were targeted

  1. 1Don't buy from the site.
  2. 2If you've paid, keep the order emails, tracking numbers and screenshots, and open a dispute with your card issuer (often about 120 days) or PayPal (generally 180 days) before the window closes.
  3. 3Don't accept a 'keep the item' partial refund if you want your money back; ask your bank about a chargeback instead.
  4. 4If you typed your card into the site, ask for a replacement card and watch for unfamiliar charges.
  5. 5Before buying elsewhere, run a reverse image search on product photos and check the shop's domain age.
  6. 6Report the ad to the platform and, in the U.S., file a report at ReportFraud.ftc.gov (econsumer.gov for cross-border purchases).
