The OSC's investor warning for Smjer Fundark (dated September 29, 2026) states the entity, found at smjer-fundark.com, is not registered in Ontario and lists an address at One Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5AB.
How the scam works
The OSC issues investor warnings about possible harmful or illegal activity in progress and keeps a warning list of companies and individuals whose activities may pose a risk to investors. Being on the list means the firm is not registered to deal or advise in securities in Ontario.
Unregistered firms often use prestigious London business addresses to appear established. Investors who deal with unregistered firms lack the protections that come with registration.
