What happened

MalwareTips reports Outletseu-coldcultureworldwide.com is a fake store built on a copied catalog: its products, pictures and branding are copied from real brands and stores, none of which runs the site. It lures shoppers with deep discounts (for example a $180 item for $39) plus countdown timers or "closing sale" banners. MalwareTips says it found the domain was registered on October 27, 2026, its URL scanner rates it 32/100 (High Risk), and 2 of 93 VirusTotal vendors flag it. This is MalwareTips' assessment; we have not placed an order ourselves.

How the scam works

According to MalwareTips, copycat stores like this are part of a larger network that spends heavily on ads, takes every order it can and abandons each domain as complaints build up. The layout looks right, the products are familiar and the checkout works, which is easy to miss on a phone. A price of $39 for something that normally costs $180 is the bait, and the countdown timer pushes shoppers through checkout before they notice that the store is not the one it appears to be. Brand sales happen on a brand's own site or at retailers it names, not on a domain registered days ago.

MalwareTips says orders from such stores typically play out in one of four ways: nothing arrives and the tracking code goes nowhere or follows someone else's parcel; a cheap knockoff arrives; an unrelated cheap item is sent only to create a delivery record; or the card entered at checkout later shows charges that were not authorised. Such stores rarely give a registered company name, tax number or physical address that can be checked, so nobody is accountable if an order goes wrong. MalwareTips advises not buying from the site and not entering card details.
