What happened

According to a MalwareTips investigation published October 16, 2026, Rainbetcasino.tech is a fake crypto casino. MalwareTips found the domain was registered on October 10, 2026, only five days before its check, and is built from the same site kit as mgmwins.pw, slxwin.com, membets.pw and mgmresorts.pw, sites it has already exposed as scams. The domain name trades on the 'Rainbet' brand; it is not an official Rainbet site, and Rainbet is not implicated. MalwareTips describes the funnel: the site is promoted with promo codes through TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Discord and Telegram; sign-up takes seconds and a large bonus balance (often $2,000-$10,000) appears; when the user tries to withdraw, the site demands a fresh crypto 'verification deposit', 'activation fee' or 'network fee' (commonly $100-$500), and each payment is followed by new demands while the balance stays locked. It also notes unproven celebrity endorsements (e.g. Elon Musk, MrBeast) and looping 'recent wins' feeds. MalwareTips advises not to deposit or pay any fee to unlock a withdrawal.

How the scam works

MalwareTips says the same funnel runs on every site in this scam. Promo codes are pushed through TikTok clips, YouTube ads, Facebook and Instagram posts and Discord and Telegram groups, promising a bonus worth thousands for a "limited time". Sign-up takes seconds, with no identity checks and often no email confirmation; some versions ask you to connect a crypto wallet, and MalwareTips warns that a single wallet approval can let the site drain it. A large bonus, often $2,000 to $10,000, appears at once, and games such as Crash, Plinko, Mines, dice and slots run smoothly, often with early wins.

The first withdrawal request is blocked with messages such as "Withdrawals are locked until verification is complete" or "Minimum deposit required to withdraw". The site or its support chat then asks for a new crypto deposit, commonly $100 to $500, to "activate" withdrawals. Each payment is followed by another demand, such as a higher verification tier, a VIP upgrade or a tax on winnings, until support stops answering. Deposits are accepted only in crypto, which is almost impossible to reverse.

Red flags

  • A 'promo code' that adds thousands of dollars in bonus money right after sign-up.
  • A demand for a new crypto 'verification deposit', 'activation fee' or 'network fee' before you can withdraw.
  • No named operator, licence number or dispute body you can check with a regulator.
  • A 'live' feed of wins and withdrawals that repeats the same names and amounts.
  • Claims of celebrity backing (e.g. Elon Musk, MrBeast) with no confirmation from the person's official accounts.

If you were targeted

  1. 1Don't deposit or pay any fee to unlock a withdrawal; a real fee is deducted from the payout, not paid upfront.
  2. 2Never connect a crypto wallet or approve wallet permissions on the site.
  3. 3If you've already paid, stop sending money, save transaction IDs and chats, and report the theft to your crypto exchange and local police.
  4. 4Report the site: in the U.S. at ic3.gov, elsewhere to your national cybercrime agency.
