What happened

Germany's financial regulator BaFin warned on October 14, 2026 about GainLiteX (.co) and a series of nearly identical websites. According to BaFin's findings, the operators offer financial and/or crypto-asset services without authorisation and are not supervised by BaFin.

Sites BaFin listed include acmedividends.com, alphasharesmarket.com, aoextrades.live, cloudtinvt.pro, cmetrustgroup.com, copyexpresstrades.com, crownxcapitals.com, dreammfx.net, elitetradehub.net, globalcapitalshares.com, octapayvest.com, securedcryptoassets.com, titanedgefx.trade, westgateinvestments.org and zenithwealthglobals.org, among others.

How the scam works

The sites share a template and often use the same phrases, such as "comprehensive financial advice and investment services tailored to your individual needs" and "become part of the world's leading provider of financial investments".

Running many lookalike sites from one design lets operators replace a site quickly once it is blocked or warned about, while each one appears to be a separate, established investment firm.

Anyone offering financial and securities services in Germany needs BaFin authorisation. BaFin says some companies offer them without it, and you can check a firm in BaFin's company database.
